Anytime Fitness has partnered with Public Health England on the Better Health campaign to increase the accessibility of physical activity opportunities and improve the health of the nation.

The UK’s leading fitness franchise is opening its doors to provide free wellbeing appointments for Better Health. These appointments will allow visitors to speak to qualified Anytime Fitness staff about their overall wellbeing and how exercise can support them with their health goals.

Recognising the significant lifestyle and financial commitment of an annual membership, Anytime Fitness is also offering a bespoke three-month membership for Better Health. As well as a significant discount, anyone joining on the Better Health membership will receive an Anytime Fitness e-book with a 12-week health and exercise plan to support them.

“This is a landmark partnership for us and we’re looking forward to working with Public Health England,” said Neil Randall, Anytime Fitness UK CEO. “Communities across the UK have an opportunity to hit the reset button on their health and our independently owned clubs are here to support them. We can offer spacious, welcoming and safe health clubs for people to begin their health journey without trepidation or fear.

“We’re incredibly passionate about the positive impact that physical activity can have on the health of the nation and this is a great opportunity to use the high level of expertise within our clubs to benefit the local communities that they serve. People’s health is more important than ever and as our brand promise says, we want to make healthy happen.”

The Better Health campaign launched on 27th July and is aiming to combat the alarming statistic that nearly two thirds (63%) of adults in the UK are overweight or living with obesity. It supports individuals on their healthy, weight loss journey and provides accessible ways of getting physically active and addressing barriers to getting started.
