Ashtons Franchise Consulting welcomes new consultant

Ashtons Franchise Consulting has recently welcomed a new consultant to their team, Edinburgh based, extending Ashtons full service franchise support to clients in Scotland and beyond.

Charlie Dickson, BA; MBA, has an extensive career in franchising, both as a franchisee in his early career with Esso Petroleum and then from working for a variety of franchisors in senior management positions across a number of retail, technology, automotive and E-commerce organisations.

Charlie has significant experience designing, implementing and operating various franchising models. Most recently, he designed, developed and implemented the franchising strategy for Blackcircles.com (a Michelin owned subsidiary tyre fitting partner network). Under his leadership, the franchise network grew from inception to over 1,250 partners within six years, delivering competitive advantage and adding significant value to the bottom line. In addition to his experience with this innovative e-commerce retailer, he has a proven track record of developing, growing and supporting franchise networks, either in his capacity within the management team or as an independent, franchise consultant.

Ashtons Franchise Consulting’s Managing Consultant, Nick Williams said: “Charlie’s unique experience gives him an in-depth, hands-on understanding of franchising strategy, development and operations which he is able to share with his clients.
