Charlie has an extensive career in franchising, both as a franchisee in his early career with Esso Petroleum & then working for a variety of franchisors in senior management positions in a range of retail, technology, automotive & e-commerce organisations. This unique experience gives Charlie an in-depth, hands-on understanding of franchising strategy, development & operations.
Charlie has significant experience designing, implementing & operating various franchising models. Most recently, he designed and developed the franchising strategy for Blackcircles.com’s (a Michelin owned subsidiary tyre fitting partner network.) Under his leadership, the franchise network grew from inception to over 1,250 partners within six years, delivering competitive advantage & adding significant value to profitability. In addition to his experience with this innovative e-commerce retailer, he has a proven track record of developing , growing & supporting franchise networks, either in his capacity within the management team or as an independent, franchise consultant.
With strong relationship management skills, Charlie is committed to sharing his knowledge to add-value in all aspects of franchising, from concept stage to recruitment & on-going support for new or established franchise brands.
In his spare time, Charlie is a football supporter & enjoys travelling, motor sports, skiing & walking.
