Plus Fitness is one of Australia’s largest and fastest-growing gym franchise brands. It has more than 200 locations across the country and backing from Viva Leisure. As the business prepared to launch into the UK market, the team required support adapting the franchise model for British franchisees, investors and operational requirements.

Ashtons Franchise Consulting’s Phil Mowat worked alongside the Plus Fitness team to support the UK market entry strategy. The work included franchise structuring, territory planning, supplier introductions and development of the Franchise Information Memorandum (FIM). Working closely with the Australian leadership team, the project focused on ensuring the model was fully localised for successful expansion into the UK market.
