Our team of UK Franchise Consultants:
Phil Mowat is the managing consultant at AFC. His involvement in franchising began in 2009 when he assisted his sister in franchising her business, achieving a remarkable 40 franchisees within a span of 5 years. Prior to joining Ashtons in 2019, Phil held several managerial positions in global franchised businesses and became a qualified business coach.
Nick Williams served as the managing consultant at AFC from January 2016 to April 2023. While still a valuable member of the team, Nick possesses extensive knowledge across various franchise sectors and frequently speaks at seminars and national exhibitions.
Richard Langrick brings valuable first hand experience to the table. He has previously owned a franchise and been a franchisor, gaining significant ‘hands-on’ knowledge of franchising, recruitment, mentoring, and training. Richard currently leads Ashtons’ manual writing service.
Charlie Dickson joined AFC in 2017. His diverse background includes being a franchisee for Esso Petroleum and holding senior management positions in multiple franchisor companies. Charlie’s expertise has been instrumental in assisting AFC clients both in the UK and internationally.
Paul Hague is a seasoned franchise consultant with a wealth of experience since 1993, dedicated to promoting franchising best practices. He has collaborated with brands worldwide and across diverse business sectors.
Rob Hall possesses extensive expertise in supporting business growth, change management, leadership training, and sales management skills. He assists clients in developing their franchising plans, starting from building the franchise model to successful implementation, and ensuring recruited franchisees have a strong beginning.
Rebecca Newenham, the founder of the successful outsourcing agency Get Ahead, established a thriving and award-winning global VA franchise business in 2010. She is passionate about aiding business leaders in growing and scaling their ventures through franchising. Rebecca joined the Ashtons team in a consulting capacity in November 2022.
Karl Sandall joined AFC to help existing franchisors improve their franchise proposition. He has a wealth of franchising experience having been Chief Executive of the TaxAssist Direct Group. Karl’s services include improving network engagement and performance. He is very passionate about maintaining franchisee satisfaction and achieving WorkBuzz 5-star satisfaction reviews.
Our consultancy is both national and international. We have a number of offices in the UK such as London, Norwich, Edinburgh, Guildford and Bristol.
